Q1 Hi, im really interested in the aircraft, what speed does the aircraft cruise at, and how much performance is lost from flying 2 up? Thanks

A1 The plane cruises hands-off at 55MPH. 60MPH with a light touch on the bar, 65-70 MPH pulling the bar in. With two-up, the plane still flies hands-off at 55MPH as weight primarily affects power and rate of climb. In other words flying two-up, the engine revs will be significantly higher to counter the extra weight which shows in your fuel burn rate. Solo you can get the fuel burn down to aprox 8Litres per hour (I weigh 85Kgs), two-up, that increases to about 14 LPH depending on the weight of the two occupants (two large blokes, or one adult, one child?). Climb rate solo is 1500 '/min, dual it is about 600fpm again depending on weight carried and fuel load. With its 47Ltr tank, you have about 3-4 Hours endurance two-up, or about a 200+ mile range and some reserve. Add 50% to this for solo flight (endurance solo is more determined by bladder capacity!). In answer to the second question, the switches and avionics have not made any difference to the cruise speed, which remains 55MPH hands-off. The cruise speed is ground-adjustable by moving the hang-point forward or aft. The 3 positions give a hands-off cruise of either 45, 50 or as I have it set, 55MPH. Thanks for looking, hope this helps Steve

A2 Please see answer above.

Q3 would you happen to know the NOSE WEIGHT of the trailer when fully loaded, only i have a MAX NOSE WEIGHT of my towbar of 80 kgs thanks

A3 Using bathroom scales, the weight on the jockey wheel is a reported 60Kg. I did it twice more and got 55Kg. So for safety take the upper figure of 60Kg
