T600T Sprint or package
AIRCRAFT £8,750, OR THE "COMPLETE PACKAGE" - AIRCRAFT, HANGER AND HALWELL MEMBERSHIP TOGETHER, PRICE OF THIS THREESOME BY NEGOTIATION.
A two seat side-by-side three axis microlight. The tailwheel version is strong, ideal for short strips and on grass, and kind to the undercarriage. Factory built in 2005; the last one to be built in December 2005 by Gordon Pill. Years of life left in her – a mere 286 hours on the airframe and 311 hours on the engine. Engine rebuilt 36 hours ago when opportunity also taken to change from hydraulic tappets to solid lifters. Xlam skins (not dacron) and Technora stitching; robust and hardy.
A comfortable, compact travelling machine which cruises at 65-75 knots at 12 litres/hr two up, less if solo. 50 litre tank. Visibility is exceptional and, with the doors off, there's nothing in the way of good photography. All struts and nuts are clearly visible and not covered by metal panels. G-DIDY has always been hangered during her low-hours life to avoid fabric degradation. She has never been pranged.
Fitted with all standard Thruster instruments: ASI; altimeter, vertical speed indicator; tacho combines with Hobbs meter to record engine hours; oil temperature; oil pressure; and dual EGT.
Two independent trimmers; pitch and roll.
The aircraft is also fitted with a MGL Avionics Xtreme mini EFIS comprehensive flight and engine instrument which among other things incorporates GPS, fuel level and fuel flow. This unit is advertised elsewhere at approximately £1,000. Check out:
In addition above-and-below strobes; electric carb de-icer; wired for radio and Lynx-style headsets.
Drum brakes though I have a set of disk brake callipers, wheels, tyres and spats, plus master cylinder which I haven’t got round to fitting; available through separate negotiation.
New prop blades April 2021.
Permit to May 2022.
The aircraft is currently hangered at Halwell, Devon, and is available for viewing by appointment.
