Price reduced for quick sale this much loved aircraft is a perfect example of a Jabiru 450. It has the hallmark special Murray Flint paint job, and is in A1 condition with no scratches or scuffs. It sparkles like a new penny.
The engine has currently run less than 180 hours, and the airframe slightly less due to ground running. The serial number of the engine is 2200A877, It has the large cylinder heads so there is no issue of overheating, and is fitted with an electric carburettor heater with two temperature settings and OFF. The original carburettor heater is still fitted and in working order.
Both the engine and the airframe has been maintained according to the Jabiru manual and all mandatory modifications have been done and signed off by a qualified LAA inspector.
The aircraft has always been hangared.
The cockpit is in black carpet with black leather seats. It has fixed sun visors fitted but they could easily be removed.
The panel is full width with a panel-mounted MicroAir Radio (recently re-aligned and certified by Microair), a full set of VFR flight instruments and engine instruments, all of which are accurate and in perfect working order. The panel has been fitted with an adapter plate for an Ipad mini so that runway HD or Skydemon GPS etc can be used, as well as things like poolies Runway Plates and other such applications. Extra uncomitted fuses have been fitted for additional instruments, GPS receiver etc.
The aircraft was last weighed April 2012 and was found to be easily within limits. It is not
required to be weighed again for another 4 years.
The permit to fly, and a satisfactory flight test, have just been carried out so the aircraft is ready to go for another year.
The flying characteristics are extremely good, the aircraft will easily sit at 100kts burning just 9 or 10 litres an hour. The engine is suitable for Mogas or Avgas. The aircraft comes with a set of all-weather covers, Headsets, all manuals, and some special tools as required for routine service.
This is a real Go Places airplane with a range of about 500nm on a full tank.
