It retains the history for new joiners at any time so they don't miss out on all the useful info, it's very secure and works on virtually all phones, computers, and even web browsers.

Many clubs have their own chat groups, it's about time we had a UK-wide group for quick updates about where to go, advice, fly-ins, trips, news, and anything else related to microlighting.

Steps to get in the clubhouse, no PPR required.
1. Make sure you have Telegram installed. It's available in all the app stores and has the airplane icon (of course).
2. Head over to https://t.me/microlighters in the browser OR in the search box in Telegram look for "Microlighters" and it will show the Clubhouse.
3. Join the chat.

Q.Will my phone number be visible?
A. It will be visible to your existing friends but nobody else will see it just your nickname. You can easily modify privacy settings in the app.

Q. Will my phone beep a lot?
A. As the group grows there could be a lot of chat. Tap the title of the group and customise notification sounds or mute them if it gets too much.

Q. Will it eat up my memory?
A. Telegram is different to old-fashioned apps like WhatsApp, it is server-based so uses very minimal memory on phones.
