Streak Shadow SA-M £6500
I just can't seem to shake off this aircraft so here is a new offer I will reduce the price to £6,500 i.e. £1000 off the listing. This is a great price for a 912 engine and even better that it actually comes with an aircraft attached. So what's the catch? It has to be gone i.e. out of the hangar where it has been living by 30th June. So if you what a cheap to run proven 912 aircraft for little money get on the phone and over here quickly. Aircraft is on Herts/Essex border near Harlow.
Yes, Streak Shadows look slightly odd beside the modern C42s, CTs, Eurofoxes etc but they do seem to have a good reputation among those who have flown them. However the original ad went on here a little over 2 months ago and despite many phone calls no-one has come to see her. This little aircraft deserves to be loved again.
I have another aircraft and so it is time to find her a new home where she will be appreciated and given some TLC.
The aircraft has a Rotax 912 (80hp) engine with circa 805 hours on it. The airframe has circa 830 hours.
The aircraft is recorded as SSDR microlight so allows a more affordable route into flying. Seriously, why would this aircraft not be kept as SSDR? I am not even sure if it would be possible to add the rear seat let alone practical.
Cook undercarriage, 27lt Jedi main tank, 23lt marine tank in rear cabin feeding into Jedi tank via Facet fuel pump with control in front cockpit. Plenty of room left in rear cabin for additional jerry can or even camping gear else the rear seat could be restored and the aircraft put back on the register subject to the relevant checks.
Aircraft has some cosmetic marks but has always been hangared. Currently located in East Hertfordshire. Wings are derigged after each flight and stored in the hangar but the wings are not the wing fold version. Lots of pictures at the below link which goes to the CFM Shadow owners group. Empty weight is listed as 229.5kg with MTOW @ 350kg.
