Essex Hangarage available

Willingale airfield is located approximately 5 miles East of North Weald airfield and a (rare!) opportunity has become available for 3-axis hangarage in one of the private hangars at the airfield.

The grass strip is 360 meters long positioned 03/21. The hangar was built around 10 years ago and remains in excellent dry condition with a concrete slab base, galvanised sheet metal doors and shipping containers either side as support walls (storage not included!).

Size of the hangar makes it suitable for the 'shorter'-end of 3 axis machines and was last used to hangar a Jabiru 450UL, however, it could be modified to store a slightly longer aircraft, such as a C42 or CT fairly easily. The span of the hangar will not be possible to increase due to shipping containers either side. If your wingspan is greater than 9.8M I'm afraid it likely wont fit. Additionally there are some vertical roof supports in the hangar that go either side of a fuselage, so if your aircraft has very large chord wings, this may also be an issue depending how far rearward they are from the nose.

Fyfield Flying club itself is well established at Willingale, has dawn till dusk flying, no-training (due noise), a static clubhouse with solar power sockets and gas heating, but no running water. Flushing Toilets are available at the nearby shooting club 3 minutes walk away, which also runs a cafe on alternate Saturdays.
