Learning to fly can be a daunting process but perhaps will be one of the most exciting and rewarding decisions you will ever make.
Flexwing microlights are possibly the most fun and versatile of all the powered aircraft out there, and they offer significant benefits and advantages to other forms of flying.
Learn-to-fly.co.uk has been in the business for over 20 years, and your (future) instructor Ian MacAdam has a wealth of experience and knowledge to help you achieve your dream of learning to fly.
In 2023 Ian moved to Popham Airfield after a brief but enjoyable stint at Lee on Solent, and prior to that was based at Henstridge Airfield, Damyns Hall Airfield and Swansea Airport.
Having gained some 5000 hours on flexwings, and been the founder of Batoka Sky out in Zambia in 1993, the company that offers flights over Victoria Falls, along with his friend from university Nick, Ian is the right choice if you want to learn to fly a flexwing.
Currently we offer training on the PulsR, the 'bees knees' of flexwing microlights and a GT450.
If you wish to buy your own aircraft (and that should be your goal) you will be able to get invaluable advice on what to buy and where to look, and how to go about it. However we do insist you start your training and finish your training on our school aircraft.
