We are seeking expressions of interest from individuals who would be keen to join an R44 syndicate based at Leeds Heliport, operating a freshly overhauled (2,200 hours and 12 years) Helicopter. We have learned to fly there and would like to expand our horizons beyond our 269C training helicopter into an R44. The proposal is to have 4x shares at £80k in a freshly overhauled machine already underway at the Robinson Service Centre based on the field.

The biggest hurdles for private ownership are the cost of insurance and not hitting the required hours to make the R44 economical. Splitting it into shares and having the helicopter used is really the most sensible way to have one. Relying on the experience of a Service Centre and experienced instructors on site would be the cornerstone of what we are trying to achieve here. Operating a nice machine in a safe manner is the goal.
