Historical Providence:
This Chipmunk was issued to the Royal Air Force on 17th April 1952. During its early career it was deployed at RAF Benson, RAF Shawbury then RAF Newton with the Nottingham University Air Squadron. It was sent for disposal in 1992.
It has been a totally reliable workhorse ever since averaging 100 to 120 hours a year and has no accidental damage.
