A large amount of key critical spares are available by separate negotiation to include, nosecone and backplate, Starter motor, Voltage regulator, Spare mainwheels with serviceable tyres (Dunlop). Dunlop brake kit. Control Surfaces Engine Cowlingsand Voltage.Regulator and Starter motor all with release paperwork.
Historical Providence:
This Chipmunk was issued to the Royal Air Force on 17th April 1952. During its early career it was deployed at RAF Benson, RAF Shawbury then RAF Newton with the Nottingham University Air Squadron. It was sent for disposal in 1992.
It has been a totally reliable workhorse ever since averaging 100 to 120 hours a year and has no accidental damage.
