Aeronca L16 syndicate

We are looking at setting up a Syndicate for an Aeronca L16a Champ and require and additional two members for a group of 4.

The aircraft is the only one registered in the UK and quite possibly one of very few originals in the world that actually served in the Korean war. Currently based at Abbots Bromley, South Staffordshire, but it could be relocated if it worked for other syndicate members.

- Aircraft total hours is around 3400 and the engine since zero timed is about 450hrs, 400 hours left on the mags before inspection

- Can be flown from the front seat

- Continental C85 fuel injected engine producing 85HP

- Refurbished 2014-2018

Cost wise, a share will be in the region of £10k with ongoing costs in the region of £70 a month for insurance and hangarage; of course the insurance could increase depending on the members individual status.

Hourly rate dry will be £50.

Please note, although a benign aircraft, it is still a taildragger so tail dragger sign off and experience is required.
