Luscombe 8A G-BVEP Serial number 1468.
Airframe hrs: 2899; Engine: Continental A65: 36 hrs since zero hour: Prop: Sensenich - wood.
This Luscombe was built in September 1940, although registered as an 8a it is in fact an 8c which has an art-deco instrument panel. It has fabric covered wings, a rebuilt Continental A65 engine and a Sensenich wooden propeller for hand propping.
Completely rebuilt over 7 years and was inspected thoroughly by the CAA prior to issuing a new CofA, then moved onto LAA register from Nov 24 with a new PtF. It flies beautifully, hands off.
Two holders are attached to the windows, one for an iPhone used for navigation purposes (Sky Demon) and the other for a hand-held radio.
