This 1977 Piper Warrior II is a Christmas gift for someone. Vref Book value places it at over $96,930 USD (£73k). The photos speak for themselves, the aircraft is as good as it looks.
This aircraft was flown from the USA to Ireland in May 1999 (Bangor DCT Knock) and took up registration markings EI-CTT. The aircraft was hangared in Knock, and in 2009 it went back on it’s original N-Number N38974 and was then extensively refurbished in 2014/2015. The aircraft received a bare metal respray, new glass, almost all new plastics and significant airframe works detailed in the records. Presented now with a new FAA annual to December 2026 and if required an Export Certificate of Airworthiness (at cost). Being able to offer an Export Certificate of Airworthiness is a major consideration for anyone looking to place the aircraft on an EASA or UK registration.
The airframe time is 9282hrs TTAF, with just 358hrs SMOH in 2007 and 358hrs on the Sensenich propeller. The lower bolt hole NDT AD inspection and fuel tank inspection have been complied with in 2022. Last compressions 76/76/77/77. The basic empty weight is 1471lbs, MTOW is 2325lbs so 854lbs is the useful load. This is a fast flying Warrior, indicating 110kts at 2400rpm. The panel has 4 Place PM Intercom, King KR-86 ADF, MX170C Nav Com, MX170B Nav Com 2, King KMA-20 Audio, King KN64 DME, Garmin GTX-327 Mode C with an Avionics Master switch fitted. Additionally the aircraft benefits from external power, strobes and an almost new Bruce’s Custom Cover for the cockpit & engine. The all over white paint simply carries a decal registration and is ready for a scheme of your choice. We only have one, when it’s gone it’s gone!
