For Sale: PS Engineering Incorporated Panel Mounted PM501 Four Channel Intercom with two double headphone sockets, line in socket, and wiring.

Works perfectly and only removed for a panel upgrade on my Vans RV7 G-IBEN.

About the PS Engineering PM501 Four-Channel Intercom:

It's a panel-mounted, 4-place intercom - meaning it supports pilot, copilot, and two passengers.

It uses independent output amplifiers for each headset (pilot, copilot, passengers 1 & 2), giving enough volume "punch" for noisy cockpits.

There is a VOX (voice-activated squelch) system: mics don't transmit until someone starts talking (or a VOX/PTT is activated), which helps reduce background noise.

It includes a music/ entertainment input - you can plug in a music source (e.g. line-level output from a CD player or similar so pilot and passengers)

It's designed as a "budget-minded" but functional intercom, offering essential intercom capabilities at a lower cost than more advanced units.

The unit provides individual output amplifiers for each of the four headsets - so each occupant has their own output drive.

Pilot-Isolate ("ISO") Mode: A two-position switch lets you choose between
"ALL" mode — everyone hears radio, music, and each other — or "ISO" mode - where only the pilot hears the aircraft radio, while the copilot and passengers remain on intercom and can listen to music. This is useful during critical phases like takeoff/landing.

Automatic fail-safe radio pass-through:
If the PM501 loses power or is turned off, an internal relay automatically connects the pilot's headset directly to the aircraft radio so that radio communications aren't lost.

Radio transmit for pilot & copilot: Both pilot and copilot have transmit capability.
Only whoever presses their Push-To-Talk
(PTT) button will transmit on the aircraft radio. If both press, copilot overrides; pilot regains priority by switching off the unit.
