FY is a well looked-after aeroplane, always hangared at Kirknewton and never used for training, hence its low airframe hours – 5000 in 50 years. The engine has 600 hours since being zero-timed.

The Traveler is acknowledged to be a delight to fly with light and responsive controls and excellent visibility. G-BDFY is a very capable tourer and has been on many trips to Europe.
