Mobile Control Tower for Sale
Mobile Control Tower, originally from an RAF Bedford Truck but converted to be movable with a 50mm ball hitch.
Fitted with Icom A210E and backup/ Com 2 A200 (25mhz) radios. The COM2 can easily be changed out for another A210E if you really feel the need. Radios recently checked and an external N Type socket allows for easy connection to a separate mast.
Has 230v (all working) and 12v (again, all works) systems including Crash Alarm. AC (heat and cool) unit, Fridge, plenty of storage etc.
Has recently had a going over and so now watertight.
When sited, removable legs can be used to level it firmly in place.
Any inspection welcome. It can be towed short distances with just about any vehicle (we've used an Isuzu Trooper) but it will want to be transported on a truck rather than go on the open road.
Will suit small airfield, Airshow/ Fly in Use - plug it into either batteries/ solar or single phase 240v, affix a mast and you're ready to go. Open to sensible offers.
